Soon after buying my PC, I decided to get an Internet connection. I went on looking for a good Internet service provider. I came across few well-known names in the field. Finally I settled for reliance broadband the Reliance BroadNet. The best part of their service is that I can switch from low broadband of 100 kbps to higher at the click of a button. I can use the low broadband for sending e-mail or chatting, while for downloading video or songs, I can switch to higher broadband of 1000 kbps. On taking their service, I also got bonus bandwidths of 100, 300 and 600 kbps instead of the traditional 64, 256 or 512 kbps.
I am also charged according to the time that I am logged on to the Internet, for the bandwidth I have selected. Say, if I am logged on for one hour , and for the first half hour I log on to 100 kbps and for the nest half hour I go for 300 kbps, I will be charged for the first 30 minutes at the 100 kbps rate whereas for the next 30 minutes, I will be charged for 300 kbps rate.
